Visalia Runners meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at 7:00 P.M. at Visalia’s LifeStyle Center. The LifeStyle Center is located at 5105 West Cypress Avenue, Visalia, CA 93277 .

Upcoming Events

Visalia Runners is planning a hike up Mt. Whitney from Whitney portal Aug 18 and 19 this summer.  This will be a one day, hike up to the peak and back down event.  We’ll travel over to Whitney portal Friday afternoon/evening, begin the ascent very early in the morning on the 18th and be back out later that day.  Then we plan to have fun and fellowship while recuperating from our fitness in Lone Pine that evening over dinner.  We will leave for Visalia the next morning.

Those who are interested, please contact David Humerickhouse at dsh.eott@gmail.com to reserve your spot with your name and contact information.  He can also be reached for information at 559-737-0036.  You’ll need to pay a $15 application fee for the park service permit lottery.  The application needs to be turned in by the end of next week, Jan 27, 2012, to allow it to be submitted for the earliest chance at the lottery.
